Recently I had the chance to go back to Queenstown, Arrowtown and Wanaka in NZ – it was a long overdue holiday with my husband Phil who had not been there before. I had lived there from 1992 – 1999, and just never managed to make it back. It was so wonderful to get back to The Otago region and catch up with old friends, and experience the area again.
We caught up with friends Amanda and Shane. Shane is now a full-time Sculptor working mainly in Slate and Schist generally for large scale works placed in their environment. The work is stunning.
Shane takes commissions and has created works for collectors in New Zealand, Australia an Europe.
