Step 1: Booking Your Portrait Session
Portrait photography sessions are available Tuesday – Sunday, Viewing and Design appointments are available Tuesday – Thursday evenings. Pregnancy and NB babies are best during the day Tuesday – Friday so there’s no rush and we can spend more time with you and your new family. Weekends are very popular for families, so book early to secure a date that works with your whole family. Prior to making a booking, discuss with the whole family work, sport, music and hobby commitments.
All Portrait bookings require a $50 booking fee to secure your booking into my calendar, and will be credited toward your order on the day of your design appointment. Please note that I require 10 days notice should you be unable to make your portrait appointment or 5 days notice for your viewing and design session. You may postpone your session up to two times, after which you will be required to pay an additional $50 booking fee to hold your third date, this is to ensure that I do not turn down other clients only to be left waiting like a wall flower on the day! Step 2: Before Your Session
We will have a meeting (by phone or at my studio) where I take time to find out about you, your family and loved ones, and what you would like to achieve from your portrait experience. We customize your session to best capture your family’s personality and ensure that you enjoy creating memories that can be displayed in your home, office or holiday home to enjoy for many years to come.
You will also have received information regarding the day of your Portrait Session, we will have organised a location for the shoot, what to wear and bring on the day. Please take the time to read and view clothing possibilities, and the style of photos you like the look of - black and white, colour, classic, modern etc.
Take time to talk with your family and partner about how and where you would like to display your portraits. Walk through your home and look at the rooms and wall spaces you feel you want your portraits to be displayed. Take some photos so that I will be able to help guide you better in your viewing session for your final displays.
You will also receive a text message with a quick two minute pre - portrait survey, where you read questions relating to you and your families likes and hobbies etc and your upcoming portrait session, once you submit this I will contact you a few days before your session to confirm all details.
